Mrs. Chaddick (History) grew up right here in Santa Clarita and graduated from Hart High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a minor in Political Science from Concordia University Irvine and her teaching credential from California State University Northridge. She loves reading, baking, cooking, hiking, embroidery, Jane Austen, Disneyland and - of course - HISTORY!
Mrs. Prante (long term substitute for History) grew up in San Diego, CA. She graduated from Monte Vista High School and received a B.A. in History from UCSD. She earned her teaching credential and Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico. She was a middle school social studies teacher in Albuquerque, NM, and has been substitute teaching in the Hart District since October 2017. Mrs. Prante enjoys reading, bicycling, running and going on urban adventures with her husband and two sons.
Mrs. Koskie (English) was born and raised in Orange County, California. She graduated from Los Alamitos High School (2003) and went on to receive her B.A. in Comparative World Literature with an emphasis in cultural studies (2008) from California State University of Long Beach. She earned her Single Subject English credential and Master's Degree in Education from the University of La Verne. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Koskie enjoys art, literature, traveling, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and son.
Mrs. Wright (Science) graduated valedictorian from Canyon High School in 1999. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from UCLA before attending a graduate program in Forensic Anthropology at Michigan State University. She then earned her teaching credential from Cal State Long Beach and Master's Degree from CSUN in Educational Administration and Policy. Mrs. Wright loves quilting, reading, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
Mr. Cottrell (Math) Tony joins us from Lancaster High School where he taught 9th grade Algebra I and Engineering for five years. Prior to education, Tony spent 20 years in the Coast Guard where he developed his love for teaching. Tony enjoys the outdoors, and is always looking for the next adventure hiking, camping or traveling to new places.
Tony is no stranger to Rancho Pico as his three children all attended school here with his youngest recently graduating from West Ranch!
