Melissa Chaddick (History) grew up right here in Santa Clarita and graduated from Hart High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History with a minor in Political Science from Concordia University Irvine and her teaching credential from California State University Northridge. She loves reading, baking, cooking, hiking, embroidery, Jane Austen, Disneyland and - of course - HISTORY!
Brianne Prante (long term substitute for History) grew up in San Diego, CA. She graduated from Monte Vista High School and received a B.A. in History from UCSD. She earned her teaching credential and Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of New Mexico. She was a middle school social studies teacher in Albuquerque, NM, and has been substitute teaching in the Hart District since October 2017. Mrs. Prante enjoys reading, bicycling, running and going on urban adventures with her husband and two sons.
Shauna Koskie (English) was born and raised in Orange County, California. She graduated from Los Alamitos High School (2003) and went on to receive her B.A. in Comparative World Literature with an emphasis in cultural studies (2008) from California State University of Long Beach. She earned her Single Subject English credential and Master's Degree in Education from the University of La Verne. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Koskie enjoys art, literature, traveling, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and son.
Leslie Wright (Science) graduated valedictorian from Canyon High School in 1999. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology from UCLA before attending a graduate program in Forensic Anthropology at Michigan State University. She then earned her teaching credential from Cal State Long Beach and Master's Degree from CSUN in Educational Administration and Policy. Mrs. Wright loves quilting, reading, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
