Fall 2020 Planning Update - July 17, 2020

Today Governor Newsom announced new expectations for the reopening of schools. The Governor's statement indicates that the Hart District should begin classes on August 11 in an online format. While today's announcements will necessitate time to digest the specifics, I want to be clear that the Board's decision on Wednesday is consistent with these latest guidelines from the State - at least in terms of our immediate next steps for online learning. Stay tuned for more information. We will push out specific clarifications next week. Mike Kuhlman Superintendent

EARLY RELEASE TUESDAYS

Please be advised that Rancho Pico has an early release schedule on Tuesdays for staff development. School ends at 1:50 pm instead of 2:55 pm on those days. Click the link to view the bell schedule.

#SaugusStrong Web Page

In an effort to consolidate all information and resources available to students, families, staff and the community, the Hart School District has created a webpage called #SaugusStrong. On that page are links for local crisis support resources, donations, resources specific to violence, trauma and schools, as well as frequently asked questions. From the District website, you will find #SaugusStrong at the top of our Quick Links. This link will be published across all school websites and will be updated as more information becomes available.
