Mrs. Pearsall's Message

Hello all my wonderful 7th grade English students and their families~

I am so excited for this upcoming school year! It is always nice to know something about the teacher you will be spending the next 10 months with, so I will give you a quick biography.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley and graduated from Taft High School. I attended and graduated from Cal State University at Northridge with a degree in Health Administration. I ran a multi-specialty medical practice for the next 12 years. I have two children; my daughter Chelsea, and my son Alexander. In 1995, I decided to go back to school to obtain my teaching credential and later a Master's Degree in Secondary English Education from Cal State University at Northridge and UCLA. This will be my 23rd year of teaching.

Most of my free time is spent reading, hiking, and spending time with my husband, children and my two adorable grandson's; Matthew and Roark. Matthew is 3 years old and Roark is 5 months.

I look forward to getting to know you better during this school year!

Sincerely,
Mrs. Pearsall
