Mrs. Kristine Spector

~ Science Teacher ~ Team Leader ~ Department Chair ~


Mrs. Kristy Spector has many years of teaching experience which include 7 years teaching high school science and health and 12 years teaching 8th grade science here at Rancho Pico.  Kristy currently holds a California Professional Clear credential; a single subject credential in Health sciences, life science, physical science and general science and has her CLAD,  from Cal State Long beach.  This is her 9th year as the science department chair and team leader for Quest.  Kristy enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 teenage daughters.  She is passionate about providing a fun learning environment for all students.

  

 

 

Mrs. Rachel Kenyon

~ English Teacher ~ EL Coordinator~

 

Mrs. Rachel Kenyon is the English teacher for team Quest. She also teaches a class for English Learners. Previously she has taught world history as well. She graduated from The Master’s College with a BA in English and a minor in history. Currently she is working towards getting her masters in English. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and helping in the junior high ministry at her church.

 

 

Mr. Douglas Smith

~ U.S. History Teacher ~

 

Mr. Douglas Smith teaches U.S. History for Team Quest.  He has been at Rancho Pico since the school’s opening and prior to being at Rancho Pico, he taught at Placerita Junior High.  In addition to inspiring his students to be the best they can be, Mr. Smith’s interests include golfing, college football, and following economic trends. Recently married, Mr. Smith lives in the Santa Clarita Valley and is looking forward to starting a family.  

 

 

 

Mrs. Diane Jacobson

~ Math  Teacher ~

Mrs. Diane Jacobson grew up in Granada Hills and loves reading, exercise and the outdoors. She graduated from CSUN with a degree in Food Science and then later returned to CSUN to earn her teaching credential. She joins Rancho Pico after teaching math for seven years in Burbank.
